Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays.
Images produced are available for our doctors to review on a computer screen immediately, which allows for diagnosis of any potential dental problems. It helps to detect problems at an early stage, but they also use 80 – 90% less radiation exposure than the traditional dental X-Rays. X-Rays are essential for preventative and diagnostic care.
X-rays help to:
Reveal early signs of bone loss
Display decay between teeth in order to prevent it from spreading
Unveil problems inside a tooth or below the gum line
Early oral cancer detection
